Sarah said… 
"From the moment I spoke to Heather I knew she was the one to make our special day everything we hoped for. She knew all of our vendors and coordinated all the details and timing just perfectly. I was so relaxed the day of our wedding as I knew Heather had everything under control. I did not question for one minute that things would not be executed perfectly as Heather was in charge. From logistics, to decor, Heather understood our vision and had wonderful suggestions. Heather also did my florals and they were even more beautiful than the ideas I had in mind. I was blown away by her creations and our bouquets. I was so sad the next day as I wanted to take them home and soak in their beauty as long as I could but we were leaving for our honeymoon. Our wedding took place the weekend after Hurricane Matthew in which Manteo was underwater and had major damage. Heather called ME to tell me not to worry, all when her family was going through the recovery and damage to their home. That attests to the level of service and care for her clients she has. What makes Heather so great to work with is that she is truly a wonderful person. Any bride would be lucky to have her as part of their special day."

I just don’t know what I would have done without her! Hiring Heather for wedding day coordination was truly the best decision I made with regards to my wedding, and my only regret is that I didn’t budget for full wedding coordination services. My wedding was in Cape Charles, VA which is over 2 hours from where Heather lives in NC but she made the trip twice (once for the food tasting and finally for the wedding). Super easy to work with and she MADE SH** HAPPEN! For example, the morning of my wedding I’m running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get last minute signs up, decorations etc. Our wedding was the first event in a newly built event facility at Bay Creek, and when I walked in that morning workers were still laying down the floors, there was a big hole in the wall and the toilets and stall partitions hadn’t been installed yet. I learned later that my husband and father were trying to keep me away from the venue because they didn’t want me to panic. Too late. However, Heather was there, along a few of my bridesmaids, busting her butt working right alongside the venue staff and directing them. But, when we walked in later that evening you would NEVER have guessed that the place was only halfway complete only hours earlier. It was beautiful. I know for a fact that it would not have happened if Heather wasn’t there. I was waaay too overwhelmed to have been able to deal with that. Heather also stayed for the entire event and helped guide guests and keep us on our timeline. I loved that she charged a flat fee and stayed for the entire event as opposed to charging a certain amount for a set number of hours with extra fees for additional hours worked. The flat fee allowed for me to accurately budget and left me completely worry-free. I cannot recommend Heather highly enough! Do yourself a favor and book her for your event. You will not only not regret it, you will wonder how you would have ever done it without her."

"I can not say enough good things about Heather! She was very professional and handled our diverse crowd very well! The day of the wedding there was a mix up and our catered lunch was not ready. Heather showed up with food and proceeded to make us lunch on top of getting everything else ready. The day of the wedding she handled everything and we were able to enjoy ourselves which was great! My husband was against getting a wedding planner but after seeing everything she did that day, he was so happy that we hired her! You will not go wrong hiring Heather…that was probably the best money we spent on the wedding!"

"Heather’s expertise & willing, can-do enthusiasm as our full event planner resulted in a beautiful event for 200+ guests. She provided both ‘big picture’ & ‘in-the-weeds’ suggestions/tips & usefully explained what worked successfully in prior weddings at the Pirates Cove Pavilion. She guided us in collecting items to create a vintage wedding on a tight budget; was readily available via email/phone whenever we sought advice; and has good working relationships with many local vendors. EX: because she understood our needs, she met with the photographer on our behalf (on the day prior to the wedding) to go over final details. One less task for us/so we went for manicures! At the outdoor rehearsal & with an unfocused/rowdy wedding party, Heather pleasantly but assertively directed us to, modifying the procession to accommodate 2 brothers as “bridesmaids”, bride & father arriving via boat, & 3 children pulling a toddler in a wagon. On the morning of the wedding, Heather & her team cut/arranged flowers in numerous vases & on hanging window frames to create a beautiful display of carnations, baby’s breath, & hydrangea. Meanwhile, she directed a large team of our friends with setting up the 28 tables. (Heard from friends that it was an enjoyable time!) Arriving at the venue, we were awestruck at how wonderful everything looked: each guest table and serving area was set up beautifully– better than we’d envisioned! The ceremony & reception went off without a hitch. We were amazed at how vigilant & hands-on Heather was throughout the day. Heather graciously moved around, ensuring the caterers had everything needed, spills were promptly cleaned up, & the reception venue maintained its elegant look throughout the nearly 6-hr reception. As the reception drew to a close, Heather ensured that gifts were secured, tables were cleared of decorations & personal belongings, & wedding items were organized for easy removal the following morning. We highly recommend Heather Events!

"We hired Heather as our day-of coordinator for our destination wedding. She provided more than just day-of services, however. From our first conversation/interview, she offered tips for the event and planning – many which we hadn’t thought of. She coordinated timelines with our chosen vendors, provided a smoothly directed rehearsal at Our Lady of the Seas, and got back to our reception home to attend to guests and other details. During dinner, she was helping guests, caterer, etc – whatever we needed. As a bride, I didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING on my wedding day. I would hire her again."
