I am a Mom of Boys, River & Noah and a Wife to Joey (also known as the anything builder / cute heavy lifter / handsome ceiling installer, etc). I fell in love with Weddings & Events while completing my BA in Recreation and Leisure Management at Virginia Wesleyan College, with a concentration in Event Management.
Through my internship at the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk, Virginia, my determination to start my own Event Planning Company grew stronger, as I was enamored with the beauty and grace of all things Weddings & Flowers.
I moved to the Outer Banks, North Carolina, which is where I spent the summers every year of my life. The Outer Banks is known as the No. 3 Wedding Destination in the United States. I believed I could accomplish my goal of starting Heather Events here.
MEET HEATHER TRENTZSCH
Owner of Heather Events
After 3 years of working at The Pavilion at Pirate’s Cove Marina in Manteo, as Assistant Director of the Pirate’s Cove Big Game Tournament Series & Wedding and Event Coordinator for the on-site venue, I left to start my family, and Heather Events.
Heather Events is run by me and my mom, Beth, who owns a horse and flower farm in Manteo, North Carolina. She’s the real creative behind all of our floral installations! When I'm not designing and planning weddings, I'm designing & renovating homes for people on the Outer Banks through my husbands company, Premiere Coastal Contracting. I also love playing with my wild boys, cleaning stalls or planting flowers at Burnside Farm or fishing with my husband.
